Great Versatility : Notation (by itself), Notation & Tablature and Chords included!.The score includes Notation, Notation & Tablature and Chords! The different versions of the theme allow the student to practice chords, arpeggios and scales with similar underlying harmony. This piece is a perfect choice for early intermediate and intermediate guitarists, and especially for students that are playing in a recital. No details have been left out and the score is made with lots of care. The two variations add depth and much replay-ability. The main theme remains extremely faithful to the original melody. The arrangement presented in this edition is for solo guitar in Fingerstyle/Classical guitar style. Lastly, the second variation takes it a notch further - and expands the melodic line with impressive idiomatic scales that flow under the fingers leading the piece to a climatic moment before reaching a satisfying conclusion. The first variation goes through similar harmony but with a more spirited feel and arpeggiated throughout. This version tries to preserve the flavor of the original and also adds a cool twist! The theme unfolds in a chordal style and goes through the known harmonic changes keeping the Ballad feel that the original is known for. I made the theme to retain the original flavor but the variations to conform to a more modern harmonic approach in the hopes that everyone will be pleased. To this day there are still debates about wether a certain note should be sharpened or kept natural depending on people's taste. ![]() ![]() Published by Burdeti Music Press (A0.914331).Īh, Greensleeves, the famous iconic English Folk Tune!
